I had a completely different podcast that I had written and planned to record today, but the truth is that my temper was burning when I saw this book appear while the fires will still burning on Maui. For those that don’t know, I lived on Maui for several years. I ate lunch in Lahaina daily at Choice Health Bar. As many of us did, I watched the events of those days in horror of what was occurring. I’m on a roll with the truth bombs, now it’s time I let you know that most people really don’t care to hear them! The publishing industry is a funny world. People have this idea of fortune and fame the other side of a written book. But, the success, like in many fields, is in the hustle.

There’s a wonderful quote by Mark Twain that says:

“It’s easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled.

There is another quote that says:

“If you repeat a lie often enough it becomes truth.”

There is another that say:

“Silence is the best reply to a fool.”

But…when you run a podcast and write books this last one stands no chance! In fact, as a self-published...

If you've been in the publishing industry for as long as I have, you learn that the creation of a book is a pretty repetitive process...at least the general foundation. But, every author has a unique story to tell and a unique set of challenges.

For many years I wanted to lock in the foundational pieces and find a way to coach those in way that allowed authors to move along in the comfort of their own home and at their own pace. I also wanted to make the system I was using smart enough to teach it to my authors that were looking to do something similar for their book and clients. Imagine if you could use the book to create the foundation of your offerings...the pieces that are repetitive...and free up your time for self-improvement, a better lifestyle, etc. Imagine turning your book into an online coaching system, to serve as your sales tool, to spark interest in a new field of study, to begin a movement, or to change lives.

The process doesn't have to be complicated.
